I know this is going to be stereotypical, but Sound the Charge is an original band out of Jackson, TN. They have been playing together for years and have landed some big gigs in Memphis, Nashville, and Night Clubs in Jackson, TN. If anyone wants to hear what they are all about go to: www.myspace.com/soundthechargemusic
You won't be disappointed! Heart felt lyrics you can relate to and a great sound!
We are a band coming from Stephenville texas, a small town about a hour and a half from dallas what can we do to get noticed here so we dont have to move to the big city?
I'm sorry, but I have to call bull#*$% on this. My band busts butt every day trying to get people to give us a listen on myspace and add us if they like us, we book ourselves several shows a month, constantly let people know about shows, sending out event invites, making flyers, handing out free sample CDs, writing really good songs, practicing hard, and we're always trying to think of ways to get fans and get our music heard and it doesn't help.
The Connecticut music scene sucks, so we can only work so hard to try to get people to listen if they're too lazy to bother coming out to shows. It can't ALL be put on the band. If the scene is terrible, there's only so much we can do. So it's not as easy as just working hard, 'cause if it was, we'd have a contract by now.
Great stuff said up top. We all work hard just for one more fan to dig us. My intermediate punk/metal band is out of Harbor Beach, Michigan. www.myspace.com/metalnetmichiganmilita feel free to add to friends and make comments on our unsigned album, Rebreed 2010. (check all playlists, all songs are public, shareable and produced in 2008-2009 except for "Live Like A Maggot" which stands alone on the main playlist, is still a work in progress (it needs vocals yet) created in January 2010)
